Qype: Restaurant L'Escalade in Genève

After a big deception at the Auberge de Coutance at the beginning of the month, I learned that the ex-owner of the Coutance took over l'Escalade. The place does not have the 'charme' of his old restaurant, but the spirit and the staff is all there. Anyway, I went fort lunch yesterday. We took the plat du jour which was a pumpkin soup to start and the main dish was lamb curry with fresh noodles. It was very good. The soup was excellent and the lamb very well spiced. The service was excellent, they behaved with us as if we were their best clients ! I really look forward to going back an evening the have the chasse.
