My first carott soup

If anyone ever reads this, first let me apologise for the English translation, my English is good, but still lacks that little touch...
As it was cold yesterday, I wanted a soup. I had carrots, onions and oranges and a few spices in my cabinet. So I googlised carrot soup, I read a lot of recipes to inspire me and mixed a bit of some of them to prepare my soup. And here's my recipe:
  • 7 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • Juice of an orange
  • 1 pinch of cumin seeds
  • 1 cardamom pod, split
  • 1 t.s. ginger powder
  • 2 cubes vegetable broth
  • Salt, pepper, olive oil
  • Peel carrots and cut into slices
  • Peel and mince the onion
  • Coarsely crush the seeds of cardamom and cumin
  • Heat olive oil
  • Add the onions and stir them a few minutes
  • Add the carrots and let cook few minutes
  • Add the cumin, cardamom and ginger
  • Add the orange juice
  • Add1 litre of water, 2 cubes of vegetables broth, salt & pepper
cook approximatly 30 minutes, mixer, adjust the seasoning. I added a dash of cream. It was divine.
