Keftedes or Greek meatballs
2 or 3 onions
parsley
fresh mint
2 eggs
2 slices dried bread
2 tbs ouzo or red wine
salt, pepper
olive oil

In Greece we usually serve these with tzatziki, with a Choriatiki salad (tomato, cucumber, feta, onion, black olives) and fresh French fries... You can also serve this as an appetizer, cold or warm- You can keep them a few days in the fridge or freeze them in little packs and heat them as needed.
For the Tzatziki you need 1 Greek yoghurt (preferably), 1 piece of grated cucumber , 2 or 3 garlic cloves and some fresh mint. salt and pepper . Mix everything together and keep it in the fridge for a few hours to serve it fresh.

- put the dry bread in water to soak
- mince the onion
- mix all the ingredient together
- prepared the meatballs and roll them in flour
- heat the olive oil and cook the meat balls for about 5 minutes
