Grilled Calamareti

A few years ago, I was with my Mum at a taverna called Platano in Athens, in the Plaka area. They had on the menu Grilled Calamar. I ordered the dish, and it was simple, but so good. I asked the waiter how it was prepared. As you can see even a novice can do it... Here's a recipe for 1 person.


6 Calamareti
1 lemon
thyme
olive oil
salt & pepper




clean the calamareti or have them cleaned.
in a service plate put some olive oil, the lemon juice and the thyme.
heat a grill pan or prepare a barbecue, cook the calamareti for two minutes on each side and place them in the service plate.

Serve with spinach, or a nice salad and rice
