Green Beans or Haricots Verts

Another of the recipes I love, in Greek it's called 'Fassolakia Freska me Tomata'. Green beans are very healthy having vitamins and there are many ways to cook serve them. You can have the as side dish with a nice piece of meat or chicken, or as main dish.

Ingredients:

400gr. Green beans
4 chopped tomatoes
1dl water
2 onions
2 garlic cloves
olive oil
salt and pepper

Chop the onions and the garlic
Heat the oil in a frying pan and sauté the onion until they become translucent
Add the garlic and green beans and stir a few more minutes
Add the tomatoes and water, salt and pepper stir
Cover and let it cook for approximately 25 minutes
